Hidden Veggie Sausage Rolls
Perfect for an after school snack and lunchbox-friendly

INGREDIENTS:
1 kg sausage mince
2 tbsp KEEN’S Mustard Powder
1 medium onion, diced
1 medium carrot, grated
1 medium zucchini, grated
1 cup fresh breadcrumbs
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
4 sheets puff pastry
1 tbsp sesame seeds
1 tbsp poppy seeds
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 200°C. Line two baking trays with baking paper.
Combine sausage mince, mustard powder, onion, carrot, zucchini, breadcrumbs, 1 egg and Garlic Powder. Mix well.
Cut each pastry sheet in half and place the sausage mixture along the centre of each cut puff pastry sheet.
Wrap pastry around the sausage mix, brush edges with remaining beaten egg and seal.
Cut each roll into 6, brush with more egg and sprinkle over the sesame and poppy seeds (optional).
Bake for 30 minutes or until golden and cooked through.
