Mini Lunchbox Pizzas – The Easiest Make-Ahead Snack Your Kids Will Love

If you're always on the hunt for fun and fuss-free lunchbox ideas your kids will actually eat—these Mini Lunchbox Pizzas are a must-try.

I’m constantly asked for sandwich-free lunchbox ideas, and this is hands-down one of my favourite hacks. Not only do they look super cute, but they’re easy to make in batches, freezer-friendly, and totally kid-approved.

You can whip these up in under 15 minutes, and they double as an easy after-school snack. Plus, you can mix and match the toppings to suit even the fussiest eaters.

Ingredients:

  • Tortilla wraps (or swap for soft sandwich breadl)

  • Pizza sauce or tomato paste

  • Grated cheese

  • Salami (or any topping your kids love!)

Method:

  1. Use a round sandwich cutter or cookie cutter to cut mini pizza bases from slices of tortilla or bread.

  2. Place the bases on a lined tray or board.

  3. Spread each with a thin layer of pizza sauce.

  4. Sprinkle with grated cheese and add salami (or other toppings).

  5. Bake in the oven or air fryer for 5–8 minutes until golden and melted—or simply serve cold!

Store extras in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days, or freeze and defrost as needed.
