Upside Down Hotdogs Lunchbox recipe

Upside Down Hotdogs

Upside Down Hotdogs

A fun and easy lunchbox recipe, perfect in our Maxi Bento Lunchbox.

This recipe is a great alternative to the traditional hotdog. Perfect to make ahead of time as a delicious lunchbox main or made at home for a yummy after school snack or dinner. The kids are sure to love these.

Easy to make, easily customised and lunchbox friendly.

Here’s the recipe:
🙌Slice in half long ways your preferred hotdogs (I used nitrate free hotdogs).
🙌Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on a lined baking mat.
🙌Lay the sliced hotdogs on top of the cheese.
🙌Cover the hotdogs with defrosted puff pastry sheets which are cut to shape.
🙌Brush with egg wash (or use milk or olive oil as an alternative).
🙌Bake on 180c for 15-20 minutes, or airfryer for 10-14 minutes.

Serve with tomato sauce in the lunchbox for the perfect lunchbox treat.

Would your kids love this?
